The sport blog network is, in short, the making of a boyhood dream digitized and put onto to the internet. We plan to have this site become a one-stop shop for fans of all sports and teams; from casual to fanatical, from fresh on the bandwagon, to life time followers, from anywhere in the world that they hail. If it’s news, and it involves sports, the end goal of the SBN is to be the place to have the story from the vantage point of the fans that want to know about it.
The founder of the site has been following sports in various amounts and forms for most of his life, and at one time was aspiring to be a columnist to cover the teams that we now blog about. While that never came to be, this website is the next step in that dream. To have sports fans and aspiring, talented writers merge together under one web address to discuss and chat about the games they follow. In a way, it’s like being the editor of tens of hundreds of sports news desks, which is a nice step up from the original goal.
